TERRITORY DAYS
For more than 40 years, Old Colorado City has celebrated its
history over Memorial Day weekend. About 100,000-150,000
people make the trek every year for music, food, beer, vendors
and entertainment, including carnival rides, gold panning,
old-time photos and live birds of prey. "Turkey legs and beer
- how can you lose?" said one reader. Another said: "Went
as a child, then again as an adult. Always so enjoyable." "Well
organized every year with ample family-friendly attractions",
said a voter.
