Cap'n Jacks
The Pikes Peak region boasts untold miles of unforgettable singletrack, and this classic, fast-flowing route has long been celebrated as the area’s premier descent. It’s best for cyclists of at least intermediate skills. Short version: Take the Buckhorn Trail cutoff to the Forest Service Trail 667 saddle and follow it east to High Drive to pick up the descent on 665. Epic version: From Frostys Park take Jones Downhill (701) through Jones Park and onto Cap’n Jacks (667 and 665). One voter summed it: “Downhill!”
