I'm all for preserving historic urban landscapes,
a la Bristol Brewing Co’s Ivywild
School, and it's inspiring to see local startups
such as Cerberus Brewing Co. and the
soon-to-come Goat Patch Brewing Co. at
The Lincoln Center embracing that ethos.
Though operating as a pop-up bar with limited
hours, for now, Local Relic's taproom, in
a 120-year-old church that once was home
to the city's first black congregation, takes
the (birthday) cake.
