Byeong Doo Moon's stainless steel wire sculptures Art on the Streets
It's public art and indeed the appreciative local public has fallen in love with the delicate metal creations of South Korean artist Byeong Doo Moon, acclaimed for his works in his home country and Australia as well. His deer, on the median at Cascade and Colorado Avenues, was so popular it was purchased to stay here. This year his large cat and snipe sharing a bench at Boulder Crescent Park, "You, Light as a Cloud," were a favorite selfie spot. Alas, the snipe was torn off and stolen, but later recovered with damage. Repairs planned.
