Sherpa Garden Restaurant
I dream in Technicolor about the dahl soup at this Tibetan and Nepalese eatery on the West Side. Husband and wife owners Kandu and Pasang Sherpa sure know how to make a bowl of dahl (lentil soup). The piping hot, golden, creamy stew makes me glow from the inside out, and my favorite vegetable curry and vindaloo dishes feel like home-cooked meals, especially when one of the Sherpas stops by your table to check on the contentment of your belly.
