Meals that mend

Ronald McDonald Charities of Southern Colorado has been helping families with critically ill children since 1987. The organization serves thousands of families who seek need shelter, sustenance and comfort when they come to Colorado Springs seeking specialized medical treatment for their severely ill children. While there is a fully equipped kitchen for families to prepare meals, the organization welcomes volunteers to assists with providing dinners to families. The organization has a Meals that Mend program, where restaurants can caterer meals for families or volunteers can sign up to cook on a specific day. Restaurants that currently bring meals are McDonalds, Wooglin’s Deli, The Airplane Restaurant and Golden Corral. Volunteer as an individual or get some friends together to deliver or cook a dinner at the RMH.
