Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival
Save the dates- Nov. 17-19- for the 2019 Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival. The longest continuous-running women's film festival on the continent is right here in our own backyard, with films screening at Colorado College. With options to see just one film or a weekend's worth, this festival has for more than three decades featured amazing cinema from around the world, with all of the films honoring and celebrating women filmmakers. It also provides opportunities to meet directors and others involved in the films. Last year's festival brought 42 extraordinary movies to screen, including the thought-provoking narrative film "Burning Angel Dust" directed by Colorado Springs native Jackie Stone. Always excellently run by the staff and volunteers at Rocky Mountain Women's Film Institute. Buy your tickets early- the passes often sell out.
