La Cava Mexican Cuisine
La Cava has been familiar to locals for several years, but right before the pandemic shut down eateries, Tim and Shaunah Dionne, a Los Angeles couple, took over as managers. They used the downtime to refresh the menu with upscale regional Mexican dishes, like chile en nogada, a poblano chile stuffed with pulled pork and topped with creamy walnut sauce. They also added some trendy dishes, like keto tacos de pollo, with the taco shells made with melted cheese. Deliciosa!
